AAMA-Certified Coastal Thermally Insulated Window Profiles
This AAMA-certified coastal insulation profile is designed to meet the unique challenges of marine and coastal environments. Ordinary aluminum window profiles often suffer from pitting, discoloration, and seal failure when exposed to salt spray, high humidity, and strong UV radiation. However, this profile, made with premium alloys, advanced surface treatments, and rigorous third-party certification, successfully overcomes these problems.
Coastal buildings face the problem of accelerated material aging, for the following reasons:
Salt spray corrosion – chloride ions penetrate the standard coating and corrode the aluminum substrate.
High humidity can exacerbate electrochemical corrosion at connectors and hardware interfaces.
Strong ultraviolet radiation can damage traditional powder coatings and sealants.
Frequent rain and wind bring moisture, which accelerates the peeling of the coating.
The protection plan we receive from AAMA certification can systematically address each of the threats mentioned above.

AAMA certification ensures that the specifications meet or exceed the window performance standards set by the American Association of Architectural Manufacturers (AAMA). This certification verifies excellent resistance to salt spray corrosion, UV colorfastness, and film integrity (no cracking, peeling, or blistering).
The selected alloy is 6063-T5, with optimized copper content to minimize the possibility of electrochemical corrosion. Pretreatment will employ a non-chromium conversion coating (or chromate film, depending on customer requirements) to improve adhesion. In corrosion-prone coastal areas, a high-durability powder coating or fluorocarbon coating with a minimum thickness of 60 microns will be used. The profile incorporates polyamide (PA66) thermal insulation tape. This design reduces heat conduction to extremely low levels; prevents condensation on the inner surface; and maintains structural integrity across the temperature range (-10°C to 50°C) in coastal areas. Excellent waterproofing is required for coastal applications. This product utilizes three- or five-cavity multi-point sealing technology.

Tropical resorts and hotels: high humidity and frequent rainfall;
Docks and coastal commercial buildings: highly corrosive environment;
Coastal infrastructure projects: airports and railway stations located in coastal areas.
Why choose our coastal-grade thermally insulated window profiles?
Third-party certification: AAMA's verification provides architects and developers with confidence.
Validated coastal performance: Accelerated life testing was conducted in a simulated marine environment.
Energy saving effect: Insulation disconnection technology reduces refrigeration costs in tropical coastal areas.
